Placement Services

Oceana Partners acts as an exclusive placement agent or third party marketer for a select group of private and public companies and, more recently, hedge funds that have elected to outsource their capital raising activity. Our business model and philosophy ensures that we develop long term partnerships with both our network of institutional and individual investors and the clients we represent. We are a sell side only firm and do not manage or control any proprietary funds. In this regard, we believe our interests are better aligned with our clients.

We are committed to identifying the "best in class" enterprises to introduce to our global network of institutional and individual investors. All our representations are preceded by in depth due diligence of the enterprise, including management, track record, business model, technology and intellectual property. A proprietary database of contacts, customized to our requirements, allows us to be familiar with the investment preferences and processes of our investor clients and to follow a highly targeted approach to introductions.

We promote professionalism, as we are acutely aware that our relationships with both the universe of buy side institutions and individuals and with our clients are our most valuable asset. Access is a critical element of an effective marketing process and our sell-side and buy-side colleagues are a meaningful source of new referrals and introductions. While we continually nurture our established relationships, we work diligently at expanding our circle of contacts. In this regard, we will work with other sell side firms if we feel this serves our clients’ best interests.
