Mr. Miller has over 30 years of investment banking, corporate advisory and operational experience. He has acted as both a principal and advisor on numerous transactions involving debt and equity financings, acquisitions, and restructurings in the healthcare, technology, and consumer products sectors. He founded and has lead Oceana since 2004. He is a founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Applewood Communications Corporation, a provider of telephony and VoiP services to consumers and small businesses (www.myapplewood.com). In addition, he is a co-founder and a director of Helios Coatings Inc, a rapidly growing provider of environmentally friendly decorative metallic coatings to the automotive industry (www.helioscoatingsinc.com) and the founder and a director of Ultima Health Products, Inc., the developer of Ultima Replenisher, the all natural re-hydration drink (www.ultimareplenisher.com). Between 1988 and 1995, he was Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Director of Diagnostek, Inc., an NYSE listed, pharmacy-benefit management company. During this period, Diagnostek's revenues grew from $5 million to over $900 million and the company and its affiliates raised over $300 million in equity and debt capital. Diagnostek was sold in 1995. Mr. Miller practiced corporate and securities law between 1980 and 1987 in New York City with Bachner, Tally, Polevoy & Misher. He received his law degree from Tulane University in 1980 and is licensed to practice law in the State of New York. He holds FINRA Series 7, 63, 24 (Securities Principal License) and has 86 and 87 (Securities Analyst) licenses.
